Transformers: Generations Botcon Images
By Joe NUB

The official Transformers convention, Botcon, wrapped up this past weekend in Pasadena, California, and we have some awesome pics to share with you. Hasbro has some great action figures lined up to celebrate the Transformer’s 30th anniversary.
There are various sized figures, or “classes” to offer to consumers. First are the Legends class of figures, which are the smallest of the ‘bots offered at retail. Included are Bombshell, Powerglide, Thundercracker, and Windcharger.
Next up are two highly anticipated Deluxe class figures: Arcee and Chromia. Arcee is a fan favorite character since first being introduced in the 1986 animated feature film, and the toy is a great homage to the vintage design.

Take a look at the larger, Voyager class figures: Optimus Prime and Brainstorm. This Optimus is nice since it’s the largest non-movie Optimus we’ve gotten in years (If I’m incorrect, let me know). Brainstorm looks like he’s stepped right out if the IDW comic series, Transformers More Than Meets the Eye. Keep it up, Hasbro!
Finally, we get two new baddies in the largest Leader class: Megatron and…Megatron?! The more classically G1 inspired toy comes from the IDW continuity and the other is based on his appearance in the 2002 Transformers Armada cartoon.
Enjoy the pics of these awesome figures coming out over the next year! ‘Til all are one! -NUB
