Director Scott Derrickson and writer John Spaihts are tasked with bringing the supernatural into the Marvel Universe through dazzling visuals unlike anything we’ve seen in a Marvel movie before, according to Marvel President Kevin Feige.

Dr. Strange will tell the story of a brilliant neurosurgeon injured in a car crash that ruins his tools of the trade, his hands, and then goes on a journey to seek remedies for his ailments that are both conventional and unconventional. Feige offered up that Dr. Strange would eventually meet The Ancient One leading him into a crazy world of the supernatural, which in the MCU could mean everything from quantum mechanics, to string theory, and all the way to parallel dimensionalities.

Dr. Strange is due out on November 4, 2016.
