CBTVB: ABC Not Moving Forward on Marvel’s Most Wanted

By Muuka Muyumba

Once rumored to be a pilot darling with ABC, Marvel’s purported spin-off Most Wanted is now assumed dead ahead of ABC’s up-front fall schedule. The up-fronts are a channel’s presentation of its up-coming new and returning series for the fall for advertisers. Marvel’s Most Wanted was to be a spin-off of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which was to feature Bobby Morse aka Mockingbird (Adrianne Palicki) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood), as they went on the run from government forces.

The series was also supposed to feature Delroy Lindo as classic Marvel character Dominic Fortune. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski were set to write and executive-produce with Jeph Loeb.

“We’re very proud of all the hard work, from Jeff Bell and Paul Zbyszewski’s writing and producing to the incredible cast, especially the supremely talented Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood, who we adore,” Loeb tells EW in a statement.

No word on whether Hunter and Morse will return to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which is set to return for its 4th season this fall on ABC.
