A secret government agency run by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), named A.R.G.U.S creates a task force comprised of super villains. They are called the Suicide Squad because sometimes they don’t come back. They are assigned to execute dangerous tasks in exchange for shorter prison sentences.

Suicide Squad’s cast was not complete though because we don’t see Jared Leto as the Joker, Raymond Olubawale as King Shark, nor Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

So, for the record Suicide Squad will being the most DC characters we’ve ever seen on screen at one time: Rick Flagg (Kinnaman), Deadshot (Smith), Killer Croc (Agbaje), Plastique (Fukuhara), Captain Boomerang (Courtney), Harley Quinn (Robbie), Enchantress (Delevingne), and Amanda Waller. That’s a lot of goodness people! Can’t wait.

Suicide Squad debuts in theaters on August 5, 2016.
