CBMB: Spider-Man Homecoming Lands Some New Cast Additions

SUPERIEOR SPECULATION: Spider-Man in Captain America Civil War

TheWrap is reporting that Tony Revolori and Laura Harrier are joining Spider-Man: Homecoming. Revolori is rumored to be playing Peter Parker’s friend Manuel, while Harrier’s role is “significant”, but no further details were revealed.

Harrier’s career appears to be on the rise with a recent co-starring role in the Anna Kendrick musical The Last Five Years, and an upcoming Steve McQueen HBO drama Code of Conduct. Revolori is best known for his brilliant debut in Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, and a star turn as the best friend in last summer’s Dope.

Laura Harrier

Spider-Man: Homecoming stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May Parker, and Zendaya as Michele. Michael Keaton has emerged as a name for the main villain of the film. Homecoming is being written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, and is said to be a unique on the superhero in the mode of a John Hughes film.

Jon Watts will direct with Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal producing the film set to hit theaters on July 7, 2017. Holland debuts his version of Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War on May 6, 2016.
