CBMB: Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne Discuss Comic Book Movie Roles

By Muuka Muyumba

MTV’s Josh Horowitz sat down with the stars of John Green’s next YA epic, Paper Towns, Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne and quizzed them on upcoming projects in the superhero genre. Wolff was just rumored to have been on a shortlist for Spider-Man, which when asked, he neither confirmed, nor denied. He simply said that he pled the 5th, which suggests that he at least knows about the discussions. No matter what happens, he has a ringing endorsement from the Kingpin.

Delevingne was a bit more definite and said that she could not talk about Suicide Squad, in which she’ll play Enchantress, but did say that the cast is getting along really well on set.

If Wolff plays Spider-Man, then his casting would likely be announced very soon considering the character is rumored to have a role in Captain America: Civil War which starts shooting next week. His first solo venture would be July 28, 2017.

Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters on August 5, 2016, no word on whether Delevingne will portray the Enchantress beyond this film, or subsequent Suicide Squad sequels.
