CBMB: Dr. Strange Sighted in Downtown London

The Sorcerer Supreme has come to London, but is really supposed to be on the eastside of New York City. This weekend several photos of filming from the streets in London have revealed that Marvel’s Dr. Strange is closing in on the end of principal photography. The scene being filmed was one involving Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) minding after an injured figure, possible the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton), who looks to have been tossed out a window, landing on the street below a large skyscraper.

The scene played out in a video posted online (see below) by someone who worked in the building across the street from the shoot. Cumberbatch is looking is looking the part as he makes his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in November 2016 under the direction of Sinister mise-en-scène Scott Derrickson. The Oscar-nominated cast of the film has many fanboys and fangirls salivating at the level of the film, which will be highly dependent on the script from Jon Spaihts, Thomas Dean Donnelly, Joshua Oppenheimer, and Robert Cargill. Cumberbatch, Swinton, and Ejiofor are joined by Michael Stuhlbarg, Rachel McAdams, and Mads Mikkelsen to form a stellar cast.
